Nina Domingue-Glover
Nina is a New Orleans native who is currently based in Cleveland, OH. She was recently named the Barbara Smith Playwright in Residence at Twelve Literary Arts and the Nord Family Foundation Playwriting Fellow at Cleveland Public Theatre. Her solo show Ya Mama! (dir: Nathan Henry) launched its tour at the Hollywood Fringe Festival and a run at Cleveland Public Theatre in fall of 2019. Credits include: Paradise Blue (Justin Emeka, Karamu House), Revolt, She Said. Revolt, Again (Sarah E. Wansley, Dobama), Medea At 6 (Ensemble Theatre), It Hasn’t Always Been This Way by Ntozake Shange (Off Broadway, Diane McIntyre). Critics say that Nina is “…a young Anna Deavere Smith” and watching her is “like a master class in acting.” Nina is a wife and mother of five, her greatest work to date.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Jamal graduated from Southern Methodist University’s MFA Acting Program. After years working on projects in Los Angeles and New Orleans, he permanently relocated to Dallas, TX where he continues to perform in a variety of productions on stage and screen.
Most notable among Jamal’s screen work (which includes a host of films, television shows and commercials) are his performances in the television series 10-8 and AMERICAN DREAMS as well as multiple Dallas-based television series such as PRISON BREAK, CHASE and DALLAS.
A long term resident of Dallas, Mr. Sterling has appeared on stage in several productions in the city including OUR LADY OF 121ST STREET, A SOLDIER’S PLAY, TITUS ANDRONICUS, DIAMOND DICK: THE TULSA RACE RIOTS OF 1921, FENCES, THE WINTER’S TALE, RACE, MISSISSIPPI GODDAMN, FIRESTORM, NUESTRA PASTORELA, THE ROYALE, OTHELLO, LONELY PLANET and PENNY CANDY.
Jamal, who along with his wife Nicole and daughter India resides in Plano, TX, is also a teacher for Ignite Middle School in Dallas ISD. He is a proud company member of @kitchendogtheater.

Khalilah Elliott
Khalilah Elliott is the Founder & Chief Disruptor at Gafford Communications, LLC, a revolutionary consulting firm focused on providing deliberate and impactful communications strhttps://www.gaffordcommunications.com/ategies that promote equity, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) throughout all aspects of a client’s business operations with an emphasis on multicultural marketing, brand management, corporate social responsibility and ED&I initiatives, as well as ongoing engagement of internal and external audiences of color.
Prior to launching Gafford Communications, Khalilah worked as a marketing executive for major entertainment brands including Disney Theatrical Group and the world-famous Apollo Theater. She has worked with a number of major brands on multicultural initiatives throughout her career including Coca-Cola, Live Nation, Essence (Magazine), Essence Festival, HBO, BET, Fox, MSNBC, ABC, etc. and Broadway productions such as the Tony-award winner (Best Musical) Hadestown and the upcoming MJ: The Musical in partnership with REALEMN Productions, LLC.
She also spent years leading major fundraising campaigns and managing donor relations for non-profit institutions such as Dillard University and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix.
Khalilah’s passion and commitment to the causes of ED&I and diversity in the arts continues to inform her work even during the current pandemic. Her expert knowledge of how to attract, engage and best represent BIPOC communities and their interests has been widely sought out by companies and non-profits resulting in her appointment to the Broadway League’s Covid-19 Partnership Task Force and her role as Chair of the Covid Theatre Think Tank Safety & Health Marketing Subcommittee.
It is Khalilah’s philosophy that diversity is more than “a box to be checked” that informs her efforts and shapes her approach – leaving her clients with an infrastructure that makes it possible to sustain such efforts beyond her involvement.
An engaging public speaker and communications strategist, Khalilah has spoken at multiple conferences, led webinars, lunch-and-learn workshops, hosted trainings and taught both undergrad and graduate level courses.
A Louisiana native who splits her time between Dallas and New York City, Khalilah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications & Theater Arts from her Alma mater Dillard University in New Orleans as well as a Master of Arts degree in Performing Arts Administration (concentration in Marketing/Non-Profit Management) from New York University.

D. Wambui Richardson
Wambui is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a proud member of the Drama League and Alum of Dillard University class of 2000. With over 20 years’ experience as a Director, Playwright, Art’s Educator and Executive Leader, Wambui has worked the with following companies, Baltimore Center Stage, St. Louis Black Repertory Theatre, WordBridge Playwright’s Laboratory, Syracuse Stage, Abington Theatre (Off -Off Broadway), and Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre (Off Broadway). His awards include being a NAACP Michael Jackson Performing Arts Scholar, The Pearl Cleage Writer’s Award and numerous awards from the National Association of Speech and Dramatic Arts (NASDA). Currently, he serves as the Artistic Director of Jubilee Theatre in Fort Worth, TX. The Theatre is the second oldest theatre in Texas with a mission of creating and producing theatrical works that give voice to the African American experience.

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Cliff graduated from Dillard University with a BA in Speech Communication and Theater Arts after having attended Cass Technical High School where he focused on a curriculum in Theater. Whether in front or behind the curtain, Clifton is no stranger to the stage and is a passionate supporter of the performing arts. He is also the President of GraphicBackdrops.com, a special events and digital design firm. Some of his firm’s recent projects include web design and graphic design in support of theatrical arts clients.
